SANTA ISABEL WIND FARM
Earned the “Project of the Year Award” in Land Surveying and Environmental Engineering.
Torres-Rosa Consulting Engineers led the permitting process and prepared the civil design for a wind energy project of up to 75 MW, consisting of 44 wind turbines located on the south coast of Puerto Rico.
The project demonstrated the effective integration of technologies, resources, and methods, including land surveying, geographic information systems (GIS), remote sensing, and global positioning systems (GPS), among others. The project was completed under a very aggressive schedule.
