SANTA ISABEL WIND FARM
Earned the “Project of the Year Award” in Land Surveying and Environmental Engineering.
Torres-Rosa Consulting Engineers led the permitting process and prepared the civil design of the up to 75MW wind energy project of 44 wind turbines located in the south coast of Puerto Rico. The wind farm exhibited the effective utilization and combination of technologies, resources and methods that included the integration of land surveying, geographical information systems, remote sensing and global positioning systems among others. Project was performed under a very aggressive schedule.
